Soulful Wednesday
It’s the place to be! Have you been to a Soulful Wednesday Afternoon yet? Enjoy four hours of great music and good, friendly company, at this brilliant monthly event, fundraising for Care for Cleveleys.
Join resident DJ Derek Gorman and a variety of guest DJs for Soulful Wednesdays at the Top Club (Cleveleys WMC, Slinger Road). Held on the second Wednesday of each month from 2-6pm.
And each summer, Cleveleys hosts it’s own Northern Soul and Motown Dancing on the Prom event! Year on year it’s growing to become a brilliant event for all the family!
Derek is a Care for Cleveleys volunteers and also a Northern Soul/Motown DJ. After talking to his pals on the circuit it was clear that there was an appetite for a Wednesday afternoon event. After all, afternoon discos are all the thing! And so Soulful Wednesday was born, in July 2024.
Entry is just £3 on the door and all proceeds go to Care for Cleveleys.

When you’re in Cleveleys for this event, don’t forget to visit the Care for Cleveleys Shop. It’s a community space, fundraising shop, Police hub and information base for the town. Find it all in a handy central location at Princess Road, adjacent to the bus station. Call in and find out what’s happening in the town, browse a wide range of quality and unique local merchandise and support the group. 100% of profits on everything sold is reinvested into the town.
