Tips for Stallholders at Care for Cleveleys Events

New traders are always welcome to come along to Care for Cleveleys events. Preference is given to people who sell unusual things and/or make hand-crafted goods. Or stock items which can’t normally be found within the town. Where possible, organisers will try to limit stalls to one of each type only, making it easier for you to have a good trading day.

The Care for Cleveleys event programme is developing nicely. Organised by volunteers, they have a warm and friendly grassroots feel which people love. We work hard to keep the town busy at the best of times but on event days footfall is generally exceptional (depending of course on the weather).

Events mostly take place outdoors so you will need to think about the weather – in particular the wind. A gazebo is important equipment and you will also need weights to stop it from flying off. Also, consider how you will weight and/or protect your goods from blowing away in the wind.

You will be able to stop and unload your car on-site but must move it and park elsewhere for the duration of the day. Long stay car parks are close by. Public toilets are nearby and there are plenty of cafes and places to get food and drink.
