Did you join in on Saturday 16 September? We were Celebrating Cleveleys with join-in Dancing on the Prom!
Cleveleys is a fabulous place to visit or even better, live in. It’s well looked after by local people and a super-friendly town centre shopping experience. We’re lucky to have such a great community so we had a fun afternoon, celebrating life, living here and the friends that we make in a FREE fun event!
Lille De Carlo entertained the crowd with live singing and a well-known array of swing songs. Brian and Lynda Dancers did some show routines and then had everyone up and joining in. With absolutely NO experience necessary it was a fun-filled afternoon with plenty of laughter and being silly!
Family Fun…
At the lower level of the Plaza local producers and makers set out their stalls for a craft and makers market.
People enjoyed a fun and friendly afternoon in the fresh air – many people stayed for the whole afternoon. Numerous people commented on the feedback forms that they’d enjoyed the sense of community during the afternoon. Which is just what was intended!
… and Fundraising at Dancing on the Prom
Care for Cleveleys volunteers organised their own stalls to raise funds for Christmas Lights in the town and other upcoming projects. It’s a fabulous group and a great way to make new friends!

In the event of bad weather…
The event would have moved to Cleveleys bus station. Thankfully the heavens were good to us again and the afternoon was dry and not too windy. There was even some sunshine!
