MCS Beach Clean
Join Rossall Beach Residents & Community Group (Rossall Beach Buddies) for this annual Marine Conservation Society event. Litter pick on the shingle beach from The Venue to the Five Bar Gate near Rossall School.
At the annual Marine Conservation Society community beach clean, litter is surveyed to find out what’s collected and in what quantity. A section of beach is marked out and everything that’s collected is recorded.
All equipment is provided. Please bring your own Beach Buddies kit if you have it. You may also wish to bring your own gloves. Clean between the cafe and five bar gate. Remove only man-made plastics & litter. Sharps box provided at the muster point.
You are welcome to bring along family, friends and neighbours. If you haven’t been to one of our beach cleans before why not come along, enjoy the fresh air and fun.
We meet at the flagpole on Rossall Promenade, opposite number 23 , postcode FY5 1LP – plenty of free parking.
Rossall Beach Residents & Community Group hold a programme of four weekly community beach cleans – everyone is welcome to turn up and help.
