Do anything that you like (that’s legal and decent!) to raise money for projects in the town – especially Christmas lights! Enter the Care for Cleveleys Fundraising Challenge 2024 to be awarded best in your class! See how much you can raise for the town in your business or organisation.
Care for Cleveleys Fundraising Challenge 2024
Care for Cleveleys organises Christmas Lights, runs events, greens up the town for In Bloom and much more. Each year this costs a significant amount of money (tens of thousands of pounds) which must all be raised through grants, sponsorship, donations and fundraising. Not only will all of the money raised be used on projects to improve the town, it’s another great way to make friends and have fun. The strong community that’s growing and sense of friendliness in the town is every bit as important as the bunting and geraniums. Please take part and help to make Cleveleys amazing!
Take Part
The volunteers are inviting the town to take part in the Care for Cleveleys Fundraising Challenge 2024 and help out with raising money. It’s a good excuse to get-together and have FUN while you’re fundraising!
All you have to do is organise a fundraiser and donate the proceeds to Care for Cleveleys (Cleveleys Town Centre Group). 100% of the money you raise will be used to pay for projects in the town. From Christmas lights to cheerful flowers – there’s loads to do in the town.
You could do one big fundraising project to see how much you can collect – a big sponsorship challenge, raffle or event. Or hold lots of little fundraisers, run a loyalty scheme, or lots of cake bakes and coffee mornings. The only limit is your imagination!
The Care for Cleveleys Fundraising Challenge 2024 categories are:
- Friends and family
- Retail
- Cafes, takeaways and food service
- Pubs and restaurants
- Organisations – including schools, community groups, etc
What you’ll get
Closing on Monday 13 January 2025, the competition is guaranteed to give all entrants a warm fuzzy glow! You’ll have the fun and camaraderie of the actual challenge itself. Plus the satisfaction of knowing you’ve done something amazing for the town.
Each fundraising group or business will receive an invite to the special Cleveleys Celebration and Awards Event. It will be held shortly after, at a date to be confirmed in February 2025.
The winner in each category will receive a special trophy to keep. Every fundraising group which enters will also receive a framed certificate.
Each participating group will also be publicised via the Care for Cleveleys Facebook Group and website. The only way for local businesses to feature in the Facebook group is to do something to help the town. And with in excess of 4000 engaged members, it’s a brilliant way to make sure that your business or organisation is seen to be supporting the Care for Cleveleys family – and benefit from the goodwill that this generates.
