Look out for Cleveleys Town Centre Group – it’s a new name that you’ll start to hear in and around Cleveleys. Existing groups of community volunteers are coming together to complete projects in the town.
A new Cleveleys Town Centre Group
These existing groups in Cleveleys broadly have the same aim. To do things to make the town even better than it already is. They’ve joined together so that, as an operational group, they can achieve even more than the sum of their parts, in a delivery group for the town centre.
Cleveleys Together is the partnership panel set up in 2021 to work together to progress the town’s regeneration and future development. It has a broad range of representatives from local business, education, health, police, local government, and the community. You can find details of the panel and its membership on Wyre Council’s website and search for Cleveleys Together Town Partnership Board. Cleveleys Together has also been working on a strategic Town Regeneration Framework, planning how the town can be improved over the medium to long term.

Plans for the future
Plans for the future include the return of Christmas festivities to the town, with a celebration event in December. Looking into next year, events will be back on the horizon. Plus the return of the town’s entry into the national In Bloom competition.
A spokesperson for Cleveleys Town Centre Group said “It’s an exciting time. There’s a lot of work going on behind the scenes. More than anything we want to harness the amazing community spirit which exists in this town. The plan is to channel it into making Cleveleys even better than it already is. There’s plenty of ways for individuals and businesses to get involved – just get in touch.”
